On behalf of the staff at Hope and Justice Project we want to thank the participants and community members who attended our Color ME Run/Walk for Hope on Saturday, April 30th. Over 100 attended the event and 75 participants got drenched in color for the run/walk. It was a fun filled day spent with family and friends whether you were indoors or outdoors.

We hope community members will continue to speak out and remove barriers to achieving justice for all victims of crime. Like the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week’s theme, Rights, Access, and Equity we can help enforce victims’ rights, expand access to services, and uphold the fundamentals of equity and inclusivity for all.

We want to thank ACAP, PI Comprehensive Treatment Center, and Homeless Services of Aroostook who were present to share their agency information with community members, Wintergreen Arts Center for providing face painting, and Sweet Pine Cookie Company for their custom baked goods.

Much thanks to the businesses who donated and continue to support our work; Daigle Oil Company, Wilders Jewelry, Sweet Pine Cookie Company, The Stone Flower Boutique, Carroll’s Auto Sales, Pepsi Bottling Group, and Bob’s Service Center.

You all helped to make the event a great success!
